Terms of Service

Effective Friday, October 30, 2026

Welcome to Trips. These terms are the agreement between you and Stratoxphere Lab, and using the service means you accept them.

1. The service

Trips is a travel planning tool for itineraries, lodging, transport, food, sights and packing. You can see your plans on a map, edit with companions, work offline, export, and browse, search and copy trips others have shared.

The service keeps improving, so features may be added or changed. We announce significant changes in the service ahead of time.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for its use and security.

You need to be at least 13. Minors should use Trips with a parent or guardian’s consent.

3. Plans and public content

Trips on the Free plan are public. Their itinerary, including title, dates, entries, places, public notes and photos, can be viewed by anyone and indexed by search engines. Other users can copy the itinerary into their own trips, without the photos.

Booking details, including booking codes, flight or seat numbers, phone numbers, costs and private notes, and uploaded files stay off public pages on every plan. Trip members can see them, and the owner can also set a chosen viewer’s access to include bookings. Public pages for Free trips show lodging by area.

Plus and Pro can create private trips, and Pro can also hide parts of a trip and choose viewers. Business includes everything in Pro with higher allowances, plus a team workspace, branding, trip templates and client view counts. Features and allowances are as listed on the pricing page.

When a paid plan ends or is downgraded, private trips stay private and become read-only until you upgrade again.

4. Personal and commercial use

Free, Plus and Pro are personal plans, made for planning your own travel with family and friends. For your own trips, you can use them wherever you work. Organisations with annual revenue under US$50,000 (or the equivalent in another currency) may also use them for their work.

When an organisation with annual revenue of US$50,000 or more uses Trips in the course of its business, for example to plan or deliver trips for clients, run group tours, or arrange travel and events for staff or customers, please use the Business plan.

“Organisation” means a company, firm, non-profit or other undertaking, together with its affiliates, meaning any entity that controls it, is controlled by it or is under common control with it. “Annual revenue” is the combined revenue the organisation and its affiliates recognise in their financial statements or tax filings for the most recent financial year. Travel agencies and other businesses selling travel as an agent count the commission and fees they earn, not the fares, tickets and lodging payments they pass on to suppliers.

When you choose a plan, tell us how you will use Trips. We go by your answer, with no financial documents needed. Once your organisation reaches the threshold, move to Business within 30 days, and your existing trips can come with you into the workspace. If your usage and plan don’t match, we’ll reach out first and help you move to the right plan.

Clients, travellers and viewers you invite or share trips with never need a plan of their own, and they don’t take up a seat.

5. Business workspaces

Business trips live in your organisation’s workspace and belong to the organisation. Workspace admins can invite and remove members, manage branding, and hand over or delete workspace trips. Billing and seats are managed by the admin who pays for the workspace.

Business is licensed per seat: each seat belongs to one named person who signs in with their own account, admins included. If members outnumber seats, the admin who pays can still view, export, hand over or delete trips and manage people and billing. Everyone else continues as soon as seats are added or the member list is adjusted.

Members with a seat can view and edit every trip in the workspace, including booking details. When someone leaves the workspace, their trips stay in it, complete, and their seat is free for the next person.

Your workspace’s brand details, such as its name, logo and contact information, appear on client pages and booklets for its trips. Please make sure you have the right to use them, and by adding them you allow us to show them in the service.

When a Business subscription ends, every workspace trip is kept, and private trips stay private and become read-only. The admin who pays can still view, export, hand over or delete them, and subscribing again lets members keep editing.

Business includes priority support. Write to support@stratoxphere.app and your message is handled first.

6. Your content

The trips, photos and text you create or upload remain yours, and workspace trips belong to their organisation. Please make sure you have the right to use them.

For content you make public, you give us and other users a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display and index it in the service, share links to it, and copy its public version. When you make a trip private or delete it, it comes off public pages, and copies others made earlier belong to them.

To run the service we store, process and transmit your content, for example re-encoding photos and removing their location data.

7. Acceptable use

Use Trips lawfully and in good faith. Please don’t upload infringing, sexual, violent, hateful or harassing content, publish other people’s personal data (such as someone else’s address, ID or bookings), spread malware, scrape data in bulk, or disrupt the service.

We may remove content or restrict or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans renew monthly or yearly, with prices and taxes shown at checkout. Payments are collected, and receipts issued, by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record.

Business is the workspace’s own subscription, billed separately from its members’ personal plans. Each period costs the per-seat price times the number of seats, and before seats change we tell you what it costs and when it takes effect. For Business arranged directly with us, such as an annual contract paid by invoice, billing follows the agreement we make with you.

You can cancel anytime and keep paid features until the end of the current period. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

If prices change, we will let you know before your next billing period.

Gift plans and redeem codes give the plan and dates shown with them, and have no cash value. Each code can be redeemed once per account, by the date shown. We may withdraw a gift issued by mistake.

9. Map data and travel information

Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and OpenFreeMap, and place search from Photon. It may be incomplete in places.

Trips helps you plan, so confirm bookings directly with providers. Times, time-zone conversions and packing reminders are there to guide your planning.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, and we recommend exporting .trip backups from time to time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed flights or changed plans, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Ending the service

You can stop using Trips and delete your trips at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, and where reasonable we will let you export your data first.

12. Updates, governing law and contact

We announce material updates to these terms in the service before they take effect, and continuing to use Trips afterwards means you accept them. Subscriptions that start during the notice period follow the updated terms from the start.

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), with the Taipei District Court, Taiwan as the court of first instance. Consumer rights you have where you live still apply.
